While you do have credible academic qualifications and teaching experience, in a different job market (other than Ontario) you would probably be successful.
As pointed out by another poster, the teaching job market either secondary or tertiary (teaching adults as you wish) is very, very competitive in Toronto and elsewhere.
In fact, the leader of the Ontario Conservative opposition party is advocating limiting university entrance (according to him Ontario has too many unemployed university grads) for more college, skilled based grads.
So, you should be thinking and gearing your future to that end in some capacity with your academic background. To teach at an Ontario college a minimum Masters degree is necessary.
