If you want to work in a university or college (and don't 'know someone') you will need to get an MA in Applied Linguistics. In Ontario (and Ontario alone in the world apparently) you would need to first go to UoFT or York (or maybe Humber or some other college) and do their TESL certificate. THEN you apply to do a masters degree in Applied Linguistics. THEN you try to get a job, and hope for a full time one.
Look up TESL Ontario. They have a list of places where you can get this certificate. Maybe email some people in colleges and or universities in charge of ESL teaching and ask them what would be required to work at their school.
Don't be surprised if someone asks you to teach the odd course in Russian.
