One thing to consider is that many MA TESOLs accept a DELTA or Trinity DipTSOL as part-credit. That would give you a more integrated qualification, and not need to do a Dip AND a while MA.
Cambridge and Trinity have a list of some such MAs on their websites, but many other programmes will do it if you ask them. Some won't, so check when looking into the course, don't assume.
