Much as others have said, your accent and pronunciation. slang, etc are what they are, a short TESOL training course (whatever it is opr wherever it is) will nto change that. CELTA, for examle, is moderated by Cambridge and apart from personality differences in trainers, all courses worldwide are pretty much the same.
Yes, many schools in Japan and Korea like North American accents, but they'll also pretty much employ any native English speaker at the end of the day.
