As part of my assignment I have to organize 3-4 activities in class to get the students to understand the difference between the 2 terms. It is a multilingual class who speak very little English. Does anyone have any ideas they can give me?

You'll find plenty of tips, activities, worksheets, and lessons on the Internet. In fact, the Net is an invaluable source for teachers. Do a search on 'adjectives adverbs esl'.
