That's not apt to change your accent nor your nationality, for that matter, if that's your intention. It's very likely those particular Korean employers only have visas for US and Canadian citizens, but sometimes, a preference for certain nationalities is tied to the school's curriculum.
Anyway, a CELTA is a CELTA regardless of where the course is taught. As such, it certainly would be less costly to complete it in the UK rather than in Canada. But either way, good luck with your new career path.
