In Response To: would appreciate any advice (Jon Jeter)

Hey,

I would go on the Newbie forum on Dave's if I were you, you will find a lot of useful information there, especially if you do a search before you ask anything!

In terms of the most reputable courses, you want to be doing something that is at least 120 hours with 6+ observed teaching hours. Most courses that offer this are similar, but the CELTA brand is the most highly regarded and can be taken around the world. This will land you an entry-level job easily enough. Check the CELTA website for the closest location. You will find much more info about it and what it entails etc. on Dave's.

Good luck :)
