Celta tutor bias toward experienced teachers

Are there any CELTA holders who felt the tutors of the course had a negative bias toward those who had taught for years. Perhaps I'm delusional, not sure as I just finished the ordeal of a course and probably need time to reflect. However, those with prior experience in our course seemed to be held to a higher standard, and seemed to have harsher feedback sessions--especially compared to the lower end students who had train wrecks as lessons but were commended for 'good planning'. And of course they get the same 'pass'. Any of this sound familiar? The tutors also NEVER commented on prior experience and were obviously perturbed whenever an experienced teacher mentioned ANYTHING about their experience. So...delusional? spot on? got a point? What?
