A word of caution regarding "...a job in the Korean market?"
In order to legally teach EFL in Korea a prospective teacher must have at least a university degree/diploma at the BA level for visa requirements. A TEFL certificate of any kind will not suffice.
You will have more positive possibilities in the Chinese market with just a certificate.
