I generally agree with the other replies.
Just to add, I have seen teachers bring spouses on their visa (depends on the school and local immigration laws), and the spouse is then pretty much free to do whatever they want; including looking for private teaching work, sometimes a few classes at other local schools.his was in China and Korea, but I have heard of it elsewhere.
