My bachelors degree is from APU. I attended in person MA TEFL courses at the main campus. I can't speak much about the online program. The main problem I had with the program is that a ton of other students and faculty seem to view teaching as covert missionary work. I have no problem with people who want to go and spread their message, but keep it separate from teaching! Also, as a student on campus who no longer shared official institutional doctrine, I felt about as welcome as a proverbial turd in a punchbowl. If you are an ardent believe in Jesus and want to spread the good news, then go for it. If you are a secular humanist you might not enjoy it and feel out of place.
