Hmmm....how long did they give you to plan this; are we already too late?
Listen and read? So, that is listening to a reading-out-loud of something they have the text for in front of them? No CD; you have to read it?
Usually, look at the questions first, then do the read/listen, so points jump out as relevant to the questions...but sometimes gist works better from just getting the overall feel, not knowing what the questions are about. Some students might not be old enough to grasp the idea of looking at the questions first.
You seem to have lots of ideas.....ones that would work in some classrooms; what do you normally do when not being observed?
The vocabulary and sentences. Do the already know the words and/or structure? Or do you need to model some?
This all sounds like a lot to put in one demo lesson....
