Personally I found little teacher training or development for Foreign teachers in China unless you happen to be working at an IH school or CELTA centre, etc.
Differences between Universities and language schools; Universities give you more sensible hours but the students act like they're 13 years old; language schools have a wider range of students and pay more, but might be more 'changeable' wit little notice or logic.
