Teaching in China

What's the difference between teaching adults in universities and teaching adults in the private schools in China. I'm after a job that will provide teacher development and has high standards of teaching and ongoing teacher training. Actually I'd really like to go to the M.E. or around there if I can find a job like that over there. Turkey, Kurdistan/Northern Iraq, or nearby. Any ideas, thoughts. I've only taught in South Korea and this seems like teacher training land, but I think I want to move on. Teaching adults here in a good school means a lot of hours and a split shift.
