"I am a native English speaker, who also is fluent in Spanish. My goal is to be able to teach English here as a ESL teacher to the local community. I haven't done any collage, since I decided to travel instead. In order to reach my goal I am thinking of getting a Associates in English Online and a TEFL Certificate, then taking a job or 2 out of the US in order to gain more experience. I am also going to take a test so that I can start gaining experience as a teachers assistant while I am in Collage. So, my question to you is, Will all that be enough? Or do I need a BA? What do you suggest I do in order to have a fighting chance in this growing field?"

I believe you mean "college."
Forget the online associates degree. In order to compete for the better-paying jobs abroad, you'll need at least a BA, preferably in English, Applied Linguistics, or Education, in addition to a CELTA or equivalent, face-to-face TEFL certificate. (If your interest is teaching English to chidren, consult your local college or university about those requirements.) Once you get a few years of overseas teaching experience under your belt, then go for a related masters if your goal is to teach English in the US longterm.
