From experience it seems best to acquire CELTA or DELTA as well as your Masters. Get a job first but then take a CELTA or DELTA. I have many colleagues with Masters who later took CELTA. I have PhD, Masters TEFL, QTS and have been teaching for decades but was recently rejected for a post because I did not have a CELTA.
