In Response To: MA TESOL St Clements University (Tom)

I obtained my teaching qualifications from LTTC (my Business English qualification was accredited by an external body) and I then earned two MA (TESOL) degrees from St Clements University. They were accredited by an American accreditation body.
My qualifications have been accepted by four accredited UK colleges and I have declined a post at a State university in a foreign country.
Due to personal circumstances it was impossible for me to progress via the so-called accredited universities route and both LTTC and St Clements have opened up a new, fulfilling and progressing career for me.
I have since extended my learning abilities and now lecture at an accredited university - voila!
To state that St Clements University is BOGUS is bordering on legalities that could cause problems. There is nothing bogus about an educational institution that teaches a curriculum necessary for the qualification (in comparison with other courses on the market). There is nothing BOGUS about a university that subjects its student work to peer review and strict assessment criteria by senior academics (accredited) and there is nothing BOGUS about a university that is making inroads into academic needs that are not being met by accredited universities. St Clements is a private university and is making waves because of its pioneering innovations to educate people. Maybe, we would need to look at what accreditation is all about? Please feel free to correspond further with me.
