My comments referred to one of the two countries the OP was asking abut working in. The other country I do not have enough experience of.
Having worked in Australia's ESL industry, I am not aware of any schools that will employ you with less than a CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL (employ you on contract, not as a relief teacher, and pay you a reasonable income, not a minimum wage basic income).
