Hi -
I've done a lot of research into this area, and from what I've gathered the course that you are talking about is great if you are using it as a "prep" course to the CELTA course. In order to obtain an international position teaching ESL - outside of the US, the minimum that you will need will be the CELTA, and more to your advantage to have the DELTA. Within the US most employers want someone who at the very least has a bachelors degree in TESOL - and I've seen many who want someone with a Masters degree. On top of that most of the jobs that seem very solid and professional want minimum 1 year teaching experience in a foreign country. A good option for you - if you have the flexibility - would be to teach for a year in Japan, Korea, Cambodia, or another area where ESL teachers are very desparately needed. Then you'd have the work experience, and some of these even provide extensive training programs. Upon return you could then do the CELTA and you'd be set for a position out of the US. Good Luck - I hope that it all works out!
