Hi there,
I took the IDELT course in Santiago and had no trouble finding work abroad (Chile and Egypt). When a company is looking to see what kind of certification you have, they are looking to see if it's accredited and that you got at least 6 hours of teaching non-English speakers in the course. There are many courses abroad that meet these requirements, not just the CELTA! And I saved about $500 by take the IDELT.
