Hello! This is Lisa Rooney, the Director of BridgeTEFL.
Great question! Thanks for asking!
The program you are referring to is the Bridge IDELT – Blended Learning. The certificate is 140-hours, and is completed half at home and half in class. We have successfully placed many graduates from this program in English schools worldwide. The great thing about the program is the 40-hour practicum, which includes practice teaching, classroom observation, feedback, and guided lesson planning. Some points to keep in mind about the IDELT-Blended are:
•IDELT-Blended is accredited by ACCET, which is officially recognized by the US Department of Education.
•IDELT-Blended underwent a rigorous evaluation process by experts in TESOL, resulting in a recommendation of 3 graduate-level credits at over 1,500 universities nationwide.
•IDELT-Blended is a 140-hour course including 40 hours of practicum.
•IDELT-Blended graduates leave with a complete portfolio, including a videotaped lesson which can be submitted to future employers.
•IDELT-Blended graduates receive free lifetime job placement assistance. The Bridge IDELT - Blended Learning course is a great option for getting TEFL certified and for teaching English abroad.
