ESL in Europe

I'm newly certified in TEFL and in the process of hunting for ESL Teaching work. I'm interested in many countries, but I'm specifically curious about working in Europe. I'm an American and I've been told that it's difficult for North Americans to find ESL work in Europe due to documentation issues. I've also been told that Poland and the Czech Republic would be the best places for me to look at first. If anyone has any experience or knowledge of what my European options might be I'd like to hear about it. Thanks.
