There are other areas/positions where a TESOL International certificate is not accepted:
International House Schools - teaching positions
UCLES Teacher Training positions
British Council Teaching positions
Some visa applications which require a certified certificate program
If it's the only course available, then consider taking the TESOL Int. course. But, if there's an option, the CELTA is the safer option.
