Yes, you can teach overseas with a family. I came to Japan 5 years ago with a 6 month old and now we've added 2 more kiddies to the mix. I support all 5, but I am in a university.
It is possible for you, but your husband will have to be near fluent if he hopes to translate as a profession. There are any bilingual speakers in Japan.
