You are, without a doubt, correct. One of the things we rail about here with online courses is how they are mass-marketed to those qith zero experience. The bandwagon is full of cheap, misleading courses that claim jobs overseas if you take our few-hours online cert. We'll mail you the paper.
No oversight creates this problem. I've seen dozens of resumes where people are getting taken for the ride and it's always an unfortunate duty of mine to tell them just how unemployable they are based on the online cert alone.
